Real-time feedback of the effect of workout on fitness
Training Effect gradually increases during effective training, starting from 1.0. This information helps to understand, guide, and motivate your training session.
Real-time progress information during the workout:
- Your current Training Effect
- Pace guidance: Should the pace be faster or slower to achieve your target
- Time required to reach the target; time it takes to reach the next level with current pace.
Feedback - the personal trainer with you.
- Feedback tells your Training Effect as you progress in it.
- Pace instructions help you keep the pace to reach your target.
It is easy to start using a device with Training effect. First key in your personal data:
- Gender, age, height, weight and date of birth
- Activity class (0-10)

After setup, you have access to the benefits of Firstbeat real-time Training Effect and other relevant physiological information during your workout.

Guided workout example
Guided workout provides you with advice to achieve your preset Training Effect target and the recommended workout duration.
You may set a target for your workout by one of the following ways:
- Using Training Coach (read more on Training Coach), that automatically recommends you a correctly dimensioned workout based on your training history or current Activity Class.
- Selecting one of the preset workouts stored in the program.
- Setting freely your own target as you like.
